My basic rate is £22.00 per hour, based on taking a single hour of tuition.
If you are prepared to take longer lessons, then I can adjust the price accordingly.
i.e. A one and a half hour lesson is priced at £32.00 and a two hour lesson at £41.00. If you block book and pay for ten hours up front, then a further discount of £10.00 is given on the block of lessons.
A lot of instructors will include in their sales pitch, things like a full hours tuition. ( I do that and I mean a full hour's tuition, but apparently some instructors don't, they also take tea breaks and pop round home or into the shop during your lesson time). If you pay me for an hour, you get an hour.
Please remember you get what you pay for and I give one to one tuition with no additional pupils in the car at the same time.
I also support the council sponsored Pass Plus scheme, (some instructors don't),whereby the council pay for part of your Pass Plus course. (you pay £80.00 and they pay the rest). Minimum of six hours tuition required.
If you are interested in the semi intensive courses, then you will need a theory certificate before you contact me and I can give you a more competitive price, as this is taken in longer blocks. The current waiting times for a practical car test at Chippenham test centre are around 7 to 8 weeks. I recommend that you book your test to occur around 2 to 3 weeks after you start your tuition, as this gives you time to cancel your test, with no loss of fee if you hit any snags or are not ready.
Also worth mentioning is the fact that I do not increase the price of your lessons during your course , so you pay the same rate all the way through however you decide to buy your lessons and however long it takes to qualify, any unused fees are refunded.
