Pricing policy,(effective from 11th March 2008). (Site last updated 27th September).
My lessons are priced to be competitive but I still have to make a living, (driving school cars are expensive to run and need to be replaced on a regular basis).
You may find other driving schools who will offer cheaper lessons, but please remember, you get what you pay for, I pride myself on giving good service and operate a door to door service from home, work, school or college.
My standard rate is £22 per hr (this is based on taking single one hr lessons).
If the customer is prepared to take lessons in larger chunks then I can reduce the rate, i.e. if you take a one and a half hr lesson I can do it for £32, or if you take a two hr lesson I can do it for £41. If you need prep lessons in Chippenham, I will do a two and a half hour lesson for £50.
If you book and pay for 10 hrs in one block then this will attract a further discount of £10 per block.
You are probably wondering why I can discount the price on the longer lessons.
Well its quite simple really, travelling from pupil to pupil and from pupil to home costs time and fuel, so the less unpaid running around I have to do the more cost effective my business becomes.
If you are interested in block booking you will need to specify the length of the lessons in order that the invoice can be calculated correctly.
If you are interested in semi intensive courses you will need to obtain a theory certificate before you can apply for a practical test. I can then give you a one off price quotation for the lessons required. Remember that semi intensive or intensive courses tend to create a more pressured environment for the learner in order that they can get the job done and this type of course is not suitable for just any person.
If you are interested in the council sponsored Pass Plus courses they are priced at £75, (this is paid to the council and if a place is available the council then pays the instructor on completion of the course, if a place is not available your monies are refunded),there are a limited number of places
